Earrings for men are an important part of the fashion world. Naturally, we at Trendhim offer a wide variety of styles such as plugs, pieces featuring zirconia stones, magnetic and clip-on models. Here's some great information on how to get started with earrings.

First of all, you don’t need to get your ear pierced to experience the look and feel of wearing an earring. Although it's very fashionable for a man to be wearing one or two earrings, you may want to give it a try before having your ear pierced. We recommend trying out a magnetic or clip-on model first. Magnetic earrings are the most discreet because they don't have a section that goes around the earlobe.

An earring is a piece of jewelry that, when worn, makes constant contact with the surface and even inside of your skin. That's why they need to be made from the highest quality material. As a result, all our earrings pass the EU Nickel Directive, releasing less than 0.5 micrograms of nickel per square 3/8" every week for fixed skin contact, and 0.3 if they're penetrating your skin. If you're allergic to nickel, we don't recommend steel but suggest taking a look at our wood and sterling silver collections.

At Trendhim, our earrings are made primarily from 316L stainless steel and 925 Sterling Silver, both thoroughly tested for nickel content. The zirconia stone models are completely safe thanks to the fact that they're synthetic and contain no nickel whatsoever.

Some models are made from acrylic, which is a kind of plastic. These earrings are lightweight and therefore very comfortable to wear.

These earrings make it look like you have plugs, stretchers or tapers, but in reality they're completely normal. As with all Trendhim earrings, all these wonderful fake plugs fit standard pierced earring holes.

Zircon is a naturally occurring mineral that's often confused with precious stones. Cubic Zirconia stones are synthesized zirconium oxide. Cubic Zirconia is harder than the naturally occurring mineral and is usually clear. But because it's manufactured, it can easily be colored in many wonderful shades. Hoop earrings are either completely circular or semi-circular in form. They're available in both clip-on and pierced stud styles. You can try the clip-on first before taking the big step to actually getting your ear pierced.
