Description
Damascus steel is made by folding different types of steel on top of each other and forging them to form a unique pattern that runs through the metal. No piece makes this more apparent than the Tobias.
Featuring solid Damascus steel throughout, the deep diagonal cuts on the ring’s surface give added texture and reveal the depths of the steel’s pattern.
In the Early Middle Ages, Damascus steel was considered the best available for swordmaking thanks to its ability to keep an edge and the reduced likelihood of it shattering during combat.
