Pre-tied bow-ties - convenience for the busy fashion plates
For those who don't have the patience or the time to spend trying to tie a perfect freestyle bow-tie, they can opt for pre-tied bow-ties that have adjustable straps that wrap around the neck and lock securely into place. It is difficult to distinguish between a properly tied freestyle and a pre-tied bow-tie. And what's more, pre-tied bow-ties are less expensive than the freestyle models.
Clip-on bow-ties
Clip on bow-ties are another alternative available to those who cannot be bothered to tie their own bow-ties. Unfortunately, they tend to easily slip out of position and truly lack a freestyle bow-tie or pre-tied bow-tie's charm.
