In order to properly maintain your bag, it is important to find out exactly the kind of material it is made from.
Canvas men's bags
Canvas is a material often made of linen yarn. We also use cotton in many of the bags. These flax materials have enormous strength thus making canvas bags very rugged and durable.
Here is some good advice on how to clean and maintain your canvas bag:
- Penetrating spray or liquid are not required for canvas.
- Your best bet is to stick with hot water to clean most stains.
- More stubborn stains can be handled with a mild detergent and water mix scrubbed on with an old toothbrush. Remember to always avoid using bleach.
- It is also not recommended to toss it into your washing machine either.

Size guide for your new bag
In the image below you will note that we provide the height (X), the width (Z) and the depth (Y).
The size of your laptop and bag.
It is of course important to get the size right when selecting a new bag. A good rule of thumb is to add 2cm to the width and height of your laptop to ensure that it will fit in properly when selecting your bag.
For example: if the width (Z) of the bag is 32cm, then you laptop should be no more than 30cm in width; the same calculation also applies to your laptop's height.
Weekend bags for men
A weekend bag, as the name suggests, is a practical bag that can hold everything you need for a few days away from home. It could be a weekend get away or a short holiday. One could describe a weekend bag as slightly smaller travel luggage. For men, we recommend a
shoulder bag, which is of course a little bigger than a bag you use at work.
